Sam Berry is a leading cut fruit exporter from India and has recently forayed in to domestic markets. They wanted a low cost micro delivery solution. Tessol collaborated with Sam Agri to develop a passive cooling solution which can be fitted in to a smaller vehicle too. This solution is called as a Zen box ( Zero Energy Box). This passive solution does not have any AC or plate based unit. It gets its cooling capacity from PCM cartridges which are stored in a blast freezer and are placed in designated slots at the time of loading. A passive zen box has a great potential for Indian and Emerging Markets.
